The amazing church of St Bartholomew the Great has been the location for many famous films. It’s the oldest church in London to survive the 1666 fire. The atmosphere is pure medieval; I felt as if I’d gone back in time. The oriel window was built for the prior and his family to sit in comfort during the service. An absolute must to visit.
