Well, they say that a weed is simply a flower in the wrong place. I saw this yellow loosestrife beside a rough path and thought it was bright, cheerful and magnificent.
It’s just lovely and there’s definitely no such thing as a weed, just wild flowers. I have one of these, well something very similar, growing in my ‘allotment’. I thought it was verbascum but maybe I’m wrong. Whatever it is I’m very happy for it to be there. Definite fav.
