It’s funny that when you take photos of people from a distance in the park and look at them later, they always seem to be on the phone rather than enjoying the outdoors. Mind you they probably think I’m the weirdo hanging about with my camera in the fog. Kudos points here for the band and album from where the title came (no googling…). One of the best albums of all time IMO.
Survived my annual performance review this morning. No additional teaching threatened which is always a result. Working on a review paper so a lot of concentrating required.
She could always be geocaching which would be an acceptable reason to use a phone whilst exploring the outside!
This is such a pleasing composition, so nicely spaced and focus on the figure.
Really nice image! Yeah, cell phones are a blessing and a curse. I remember sitting in the back of a theater one time (remember those days?!) and looking down noticed virtually every single person glued to their phone before the movie started (and a few even after). Yeesh.
@fueast we watched 21st Century Women last night - found myself falling between the 1979 middle aged woman and the 15 year old in their analysis of punk.
@judithg ha, its the Catholic schooling I bet. The Jam weren't full punk I suppose. Too much soul injected which is why I love them. What channel was that programme on? I might want to catch it up...
@fueast think it’s cost me £3.49! That was worth it too... Saw a bit of Polystyrene’s daughter talking about her documentary or biography....can’t remember. Said creativity not entirely compatible with parenting!
