Dark woods

How dark do you like your woods? These were pretty dark and it was a bit spooky. Too dark? I'm never sure... Still all variety welcome at the moment. Today's golf course was not such a winner but it leads onto open fields so it was good to feel some space.

I went to visit some gardens yesterday that have amazing fields of daffodils. To the side were these very tall river birches making a path. I took a photo but I am horrible at capturing nature. Your shot evokes an immediate sensation and is very beautiful. I lobe the light too.

Looks like a very spooky Thetford Forest but there looks like a beam of light leading you to a less scary place.
