Summer's End.
As the nights draw in, the temperatures plummet and the rain falls, this photo which I took a couple of weeks ago seems appropriate to mark the end of summer.

It sure fits the bill perfectly, I used to love soft ice ream with a flaky in the centre. Have not seen one for years now.
