It's hard to give an exact answer because I tend to just fool around with different things till I get something I like but, the basic things I did were to add another layer on which I used auto tone...since that made it bluer than I liked I dialed it aback to about 80 %, I think, then I applied two textures a vintage photo one one from Lost and Taken and another from Flypaper Textures ( I think it is called 'muscatel'). I shot the picture at f=3.5 focused on the front tulip on lower right and i wanted to give the effect that the other tulips were almost like a flat painting, with that one popping out of the picture, so I used a mask to remove the textures from just that flower making it clearer and brighter than the ones behind.
I love it! Your eye is drawn to the foremost red tulip one - because it's red and two - because it's in sharp focus and the rest of the flowers are not. Wonderful image.
