Bunch of Tulips

Today we are back to the tulips, with some artsy fartsy processing and added texture.
Great processing. How'd you do it?

It's hard to give an exact answer because I tend to just fool around with different things till I get something I like but, the basic things I did were to add another layer on which I used auto tone...since that made it bluer than I liked I dialed it aback to about 80 %, I think, then I applied two textures a vintage photo one one from Lost and Taken and another from Flypaper Textures ( I think it is called 'muscatel'). I shot the picture at f=3.5 focused on the front tulip on lower right and i wanted to give the effect that the other tulips were almost like a flat painting, with that one popping out of the picture, so I used a mask to remove the textures from just that flower making it clearer and brighter than the ones behind.

I love it! Your eye is drawn to the foremost red tulip one - because it's red and two - because it's in sharp focus and the rest of the flowers are not. Wonderful image.

Great job! love the processing! Think Spring! At this rate, my tulips will be blooming by June, I suspect.
