The park this morning was quite quiet as far as human action goes but the animal kingdom was up and at it. The birds were cheeping and croaking and flittering this way and that, nest building and the fish were in some kind of frenzy. I think it must be spawning time for koi because there were brightly coloured fish splashing and jumping and rubbing against one another all around the edges of the water.
