I've been thinking about Adobe's subscription only CC model and feeling slightly paranoid...is it just me?
I just find it hard to sign on to a system that requires a never ending monthly fee and which, if you ever decide that you don't want to pay anymore or your financial situation makes it too difficult for you to pay, will leave you with nothing.
Any time you've spent learning the system, any actions or presets or styles you have created, or purchased, will become useless, and any files with the editable layers will be unusable to you.
I find it especially disconcerting when I realize that the provider can, at just about any time, raise the price to whatever they want and basically hold your work hostage.
