Shy Violet

So just an odd comment on colour identity. This is a violet flower but it's more my idea of what the colour purple is, and the centre is what I consider indigo, to me violet is more to the red side. So I'm using a violet for my indigo day and I'll use some thing else for my 'violet day'.

it's a lovely violet - and they do come in pinky purple, pale purple, pink and white when you see them wild, in the hedgerows in the West Country

Yes - I think I agree with you on your ideas. Indigo was an unknown quantity to me last year but we had some petunias this year which showed it perfectly. It seems to be basically a navy blue?
