Yesterday was another big bird day here in the back yard. The bluejays which were absent all winter, except for a brief appearance about a month ago, were back (2 of them) searching under the feeder for goodies. The male and female cardinals dropped by and I caught a brief glimpse of what I think were white crowned sparrows. All of this occurring along with the usual house sparrows, darked eyed junkos, grackles, goldfinches and house finches.
Not bad for a pretty small back yard plot.
