I caught a glimpse of a bird yesterday, that I thought was a white crowned sparrow, but today I was able to get a shot of this one and now I can see that it is a white throated sparrow. The little yellow patches over the eyes are the give away.
Such a darling little sparrow with his smart little markings. I have them visit my yard only in passing to another location, so I only get to enjoy seeing them for a day or two each spring. Haven't seen any yet this year.
