This is a Rockii Tree Peony. The first peony to bloom in my garden this usually marks the beginning of the 2 to 3 week peony season in the garden. Bring it on!
@susiemc@koalagardens@shannejw Thank you all. I just have to keep my fingers crossed that we don't get 2 or 3 unseasonably warm days followed by wind and rain. When that happens ( as it did last year) all the varieties tend to bloom at once and then all lose their petals very quickly :(
