I don't know a lot about trees. The other day, while on my walk, I noticed this tree with what looked like tiny cones on it. In my lack of knowledge I've always assumed that cones were something you would find on coniferous trees, evergreens with needles, type things but this tree appears to have leaves which are just opening up with the spring. Another subject to add to my 'more research needed' list.
