We have a rainy, foggy, day here today and that mood, and this shot, kind of sum up my feelings about 2022. For the world, I don't think it has been a great year. For me, personally, it hasn't been great but it was an improvement over 2021. The future, both globally and personally, feels very foggy right now but we can always cross our fingers and hope for clearer and better days ahead, as 2022 disappears in the rear view mirror.
just as I'm posting my first image in the morning of 2023 it started raining. but we actually need a bit just now so I'm happy for that. it's hard isn't it to say that 2022 was an improvement on the previous year or two. the future is very foggy, I'm going to take it a day at a time. thanks for being part of my world!
While it wasn't perfect 2022 still moved forward for me. I hope 2023 clears up for you and that it will be an enjoyable one as well as an improvement. It's a very dramatic photo to start with!
You definitely capture the mood with this image, Joanne! I can't disagree with you about 2022 and the state of the world, but I try to go day by day as @koalagardens mentioned. I hope this year is better for you- the fog does lift eventually. Take care.
