Up High and Singing

Over by the pond this morning there were lots of blackbirds and this one little sparrow ( not sure what variety he is). Much smaller than the blackbirds, he was still sitting up high, looking proud, and surveying his territory.

Beautiful capture- could be a Song Sparrow, but it also looks a little bit like a female House Finch- oh but he/she doesn't have a finch's beak.
