We had a spectacular sunset tonight. I loved the rays of light emanating outward. I don't want to think this beauty came from the current fires in California, unless it is to show a sign of hope for their containment. Nice on black.

@pyrrhula Thank you! I think I used lomo on picmonkey to highlight the center and darken the border...the rays were all there and what I wanted to capture! I do not know as many tricks in editing as I wish I did! :)

That me indeed be the most exquisite sunset I've ever seen! What a view to capture!Incredibly nice, Cathee! Our daughter came down on the train with the boys from the SB area and had nothing of note to report of seeing fire damage. We'd heard a number of days ago it was nearing the Burbank airport, but the train passes right through there, and there was nothing disturbed. I do hope it was contained quickly, but not everywhere yet, I suppose.

@Weezilou Thank you, Louise! I did take quite a few photos of it and may post another capture! The rays were jaw dropping and so ethereal to me but each sunset has something to offer when there are colors involved...each one magical in their own right...a free light show of special magic!
