‘Glowing Grave’ by gavj

‘Glowing Grave’

The recent, static lump of High Pressure that’s currently parked over the entire British Isles, has caused the weather to stagnate with a thick, ponderous fog, and damp air.
This weather has a dramatic effect on the available ambient light, but it has allowed the moss covering these graves to practically glow.
A grave yard is a place of peace, remembrance and obviously, death. But the reality is quite the opposite, as despite the grim weather, life is thriving📷🙏
I used a wide open f/stop for a delicate, soft depth of focus and to exaggerate the grim environment.📷🙏
the greens are fabulous and the shot is really atmospheric.
I haven't attempted any graveyard shots

An awesome shot. Very atmospheric lighting and mysterious vibe. A bit dichotomous with the gloom, but as you say, 'thriving' with green life.
