Jan 3 Hawk Dropping From Tree With Talons Ready IMG_6818AA

This is another what I call a "Lucky Photo". The Red Tail Hawk was in a tree between my position and the rising sun. I took some "What The Heck" pics and this great shot came into view. The Hawk was dropping on a mouse or chipmunk with wings back and talons ready.
