The last singer of the year to perform in the courtyard in front of Forbidden Root, where my daughter works, belts out a tune for the few in attendance. This was the last nice evening of the fall I fear, as it was 64 degrees at the time, and the high temp since then (last Thursday) has only been up to 52 degrees.
