This is once again, a shot taken in one of my favorite places of all time in this area, called Redbank rest area, or as I call it, the Point. There are two "points" of land that project out into the reservoir from the banks, with two small coves in between them that offer it seems, unlimited opportunities for images all year 'round. It is almost a spiritual thing for me to be there, as I often remember and feel like I am once again there with my Berner (pictured yesterday), taking in the day, or after he died, reflecting on past memories with him. There are birds, ducks, herons, a few ground hogs, boats with fishermen out on the horizon, or fisherman on the banks, as well as sailboats from the sail club on the other side cruising, not to mention paddleboarders and crew teams in the more temperate weather. You just can't beat it......
