Where's Wally? by gilbertwood

Where's Wally?

Went out to check on the whales today as it was a sunny day. Immediately saw this boy sitting on the edge of the viewing platform! Then saw his hat.....one of my daughter's favourite books :)
PS - no whales :(
Sam
Cool hat! Shame about the missing whales :(

What a gorgeous shot! Love how you chose to compose this catching the edge of the viewing platform. The blues and whites are wonderful.

You know why you didn't see any whales Denise, they were all at the Whale-Weigh-Station. Lovely seascape capture but unfortunately I didn't know Whally.

How interesting that so many people say, "Where's Wally?" In the USA the character is "Waldo." I love learning little things like this. And then, there's also the matter of the whales, with a famous movie one here being Willy. So no Willy, but a Wally. The waves are silky, the fog is on the horizon, just an all around wonderful image!
