Finally caught up with friends for a coffee at the breakwater and these little sail boats were about to head off on a race, and of course the tall one won! That is the Fletcher Jones Ball in the background and it really isn't close to the ocean - I had the 300mm lens on as we are looking across the bay towards the town.
That Fletcher Jones Ball always freaks me out a little when i see it in photos. Maybe I've watched too much scifi. ;) Looks like they're having fun. Great capture. :)
