The sun finally came out today and I went for walks around the beaches to enjoy the sun and find something to photograph. To my surprise i spied these oystercatchers on a rocky outcrop down near the river mouth. The one sitting did not move at all, so hopefully sitting on eggs. I will visit regularly now to see if I'm right! The rock is about 30 feet high so safe from ground predators, but quite exposed for hawks and eagles.
glad you ...and i...had a little preview of the sun today Denise..love this bird shot and look forward to seeing their youngsters....ps your right must get a warnambool magnet next time i pass through..
@tellefella ...and the sun is shining this morning too :) Hooray! Now you ahd better not just get a magnet when you pass through here - you'd better call in for a coffee so we can actually meet up in person!!!!
Aha, the power of photography to deceive!!! I'm glad you were in a safe place!!
