This is my street from top to bottom with the ocean at the end! It is very deceiving as there are six blocks and a highway crossing it a third of the way down. As you can guess, it is very hilly :) I live on the left near the first roundabout you can see. Come for a visit an time :)
I'm packing my suitcase as I type, Looks a good place for a sledge in the snow although I expect you don't know what snow is do you. Lovely capture. At least you drive on the correct side of the road.
@hermann The door's open Sally :) @john39 All photographers most welcome :) @deborah63 sadly I live in one of the dips and there are 2 hills before the ocean from my place - 2nd story wouldn't help :) @chard The candle is in the front window :) @pej Hope you get to achieve your bucket list soon :) @merrelyn Next time call in :) @mbemis Lovely to hear from you Mannie - come on over :) @ladymagpie Sorry no snow here! But great for billy carts :) @pyrrhula@carolmw@craftymeg@quietpurplehaze@seattlite@mccarth1@gijsje@joansmor@dizzyd@irene111 Thanks all for your wonderful responses - it is a great place to live! Looks can be a bit deceiving though as at the sea end there is a Maritime Village, railway line, caravan park and sand dunes before the ocean - I have to walk one more block to the right and go through the "cutting" (only access road) before walking by Lake Pertobe, then onto the beach area it's still only a 20 minute walk though :)
@lynnilou So lovely to hear from you Lyn! I had wondered where you had got to. Thanks for commenting here - I will go and investigate your site now too. Welcome back :)
A lovely spot to live so close to the beach and all the delights that it provides.
