A train trip to the zoo :) by gilbertwood

A train trip to the zoo :)

Grandson Alex came and spent yesterday with me and as you can see we had a very busy day! The railway track was first built and then the zoo was created. Alex came back to Warrnambool from Melbourne (3 hour trip) with his other Nana and is happily staying there for 7 sleeps - he has only ever been away from his parents for 1 night. A great achievement for him - he will be 4 in 2 weeks :) And now I have caught up here on 356 :)
That's a pretty impressive zoo!

Fabulous zoo and right next door to a railway too. Can't get better than this. I am sure Alex is going to have a fabulous time.

Your lounge looks fab with all those toys, bit like mine was at the weekend! Is that a Brio railway? my kids had that years ago!

What a great imagination, I can see a lot of work has gone into that. I'm sure he will have a fantastic visit.

Great capture Denide, aren't children so creative and wonderfully rewarding to spent time with, especially when you can hand them back at the end of the day, we see our 3 year old grandson most days he loves playing with the wooden train set we have here for him:)

Yep the brio train track was probably the most played with toy when my kids were young and looks like Thomas the Tank is still in favour! Great shot Denise.

That's a big stay for a little boy. Hope he doesn't miss his family too much. He looks pretty happy though.

Lovely capture and I would have joined him. There is one very good thing about Grandchildren - you can hand them back when your tired of playing.
