a hawk, a misty reflective lake, an echidna, a foggy city skyscape, the ballet "Sleeping Beauty," stage play "My Fair Lady," a restored ornate theatre, champagne, yummy food and 4 hot air balloons at sunrise?
This is what happens when you decide NOT to take your camera to Melbourne :(
Have you been having a senior moment, I have loads of them. Try going geocaching with your hand-held GPS still back in your kitchen. Supermarket shopping with the shopping list still on the table at home.
@gigiflower No sadly I made a decision not to take it! We were just going down to the ballet again (last one only 2 weeks ago) for a quick trip. Big mistake as we saw so much and got into My Fair lady on a whim! That was fantastic though as was the ballet :) have you seen MFL?
@gilbertwood What a shame! Think of this way - IF you had taken your camera, you know that all the good things you missed this time, would not have been there this time around anyway! If it makes you feel any better, we were in Bendigo/Ballarat for the weekend and my camera was not with me as I watched a magnificent sunset over Lake Windermere. Oh well......! I haven't seen MFL in Melbourne - I saw it years and years ago in Sydney (obviously a different cast!)
@louannwarren Thanks for your kind words, but the trip turned out far more adventurous than planned :) it was only to be a rushed trip to the ballet (where no cameras allowed!) and home again!
Damn, damn and triple damn. I try not to leave home without my camera, but if I do, I'm bound to see something that I would have loved to photograph. At least you had a great time and you still have the images stored away, just not on camera.
