The lorikeets have returned after our cod snap, and enjoying the new seed block I put up. I can get quite close to them now!
Day 21 - 3 weeks down in isolation!
Fantastic capture! I wish I had these guys visiting the tree outside my condo.
Just thought I’d stop in and say hi! How are you doing with this pandemic? As usual I am busy I don’t get out of the house much but
I don’t mind. I’m kind of used to being stuck at home. I’m not doing much photography these days. I did take pictures of my orchids when they were in bloom and a couple of sunsets but I didn’t post them. I am hoping this is finding you in good health. Please take care!
@janiskay Thanks Janis - so lovely to hear from you. Yes I'm doing fine here in our lockdown situation but it certainly is a new experience! However we can still go out for shopping and walks so in nice weather I head off to the beach with it's many walking tracks. And being in a country town, there's never a crowd any where! I miss not going to my volunteering work and of course miss my grandchildren - that's probably the hardest! But I look at in a bigger perspective and we're not at war and on rations as our parents went through in WW2 (and WW1 too) We will get through this :) These beautiful birds do keep me entertained early in the morning and I have gardening knitting, reading and plenty of housework to do. Hopefully Australia is getting on top of the virus and life's restrictions may start to ease in the near future and i can enjoy a coffee with friends again! Thanks again for popping in and i hope you stay safe and well too. xxx

Love their colours!
