Look what crossed my path today!

Two stumpy tailed lizards!! Correct name is Tiliqua rugosa, or also known as shinglebacks and are in the blue tongued skinks family. It's only the second time I've seen them in the wild, so I was happy they crossed my path :) I'm guessing they are an adult and a young one as the back one was smaller and darker.
Well spotted.

No wonder they're called stumpy tails. They have much shorter tails than ours.
