No, it's not my washing! by gilbertwood

No, it's not my washing!

I had to be quick to capture this - these lorikeets were making a lot of noise as they hung on my clothes line waiting for a feed :)

Hi Denise, You may remember that back in Aug 2021, Rhoda had a triple bypass which all went well. Then in September (2 months ago) she had one of those "Medical Episodes" that you hear about. She had been to Bunnings to get me a tin of paint and was on her way home when she had such an episode and blacked out.
The car crossed to the other side of the road, over the gutter and across the footpath, through the front paling fence of someone's house, across their front yard and through their side fence, down an embankment into the neighbouring property where she finally came to a stop after taking out their kid's play gym.
She was travelling downhill and the road is reasonably steep at that point and my guess is that from the time she crossed the gutter till she came to a stop was probably a drop of about 5 mtrs.
The accident was attended by 2 ambo crews, two Fire and Rescue crews and 2 police cars. Thankfully no media crews.
The end result was that Rhoda now has a brand new pacemaker in her chest to go with her bypass, I got a brand new car - not that I wanted one but ours was written off and we had to cancel our 3 week tour of Japan that we were due to leave for in October.

But apart from that it's been pretty quiet.

Nice shot btw and it you posted it on my actual birthday. :-)
