This is my Mum, Winifred, taken when I visited her today.
She is 91 years old, born in Cornwall (and very proud of it!). She now lives in a flat in Norfolk to be closer to me. Just at the left of the shot is a corgi calendar. My parents always had corgis until very recent years.
During World War II Mum worked for Rolls Royce in Derby making aircraft engines. Nowadays she likes to read books but doesn't watch much television. She's had a bus pass since she was 60 but has never used it as she "likes to walk as long as still able to".
