One gripe, though. I had a burger and fries for my main course and that came served on a wooden board. This often happens these days. What’s wrong with proper plates? I can’t see that wooden boards are any easier to wash and I don’t think they seem as hygienic. Maybe it’s just me.
It isn't just you I have food served on wooden boards too. The first time I saw my burger and fries delivered on a board I said 'Who thought this was a good idea' and then asked for a plate. I always ask for a plate now if anything is served on a board. Like you I don't think it is hygienic especially when the fries can drop off the board onto a table. Ugh, the world has gone mad. ha ha
I blame programmes like Master Chef they always seem to come up with daft ideas for serving food.
