@d_lopes thank you very much @gigiflower@northy thank you both - it's just cornflour mixed with water to the consistency of honey. When you apply a sudden force to the "liquid" it actually goes solid, you can even pick it up and make it into a ball if you keep the pressure constant, but as soon as you remove the pressure it returns to a liquid state. Apparently the same can be done with custard, but that would be a waste...
