Where the River Meets the Sea

Unfortunately I had to go away for business this week, which meant 4 days away from the family (including the dogs). On my 6 hour drive I stopped for a leg stretch at the Awakino Heads, where the Awakino River meets the Tasman Ocean...bitterly cold, a face full of salt spray and still just as tired...
