Last night we were treated to thunder, lightning, torrential rain and winds usually only seen on curry night, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get this shot, which is something I've always wanted to try - this is the Waiwakaiho River as it passes through a park in town.
This is also SOOC - I've been playing with the Cokin filters again...I don't think it's too bad for a first attempt.

This is simply perfect Graeme: the lighting is suitably moody and the shutter speed is just right to covey the idea of fluid movement and turbulence. Easy Fav.
