There seems to be limited time for photography today, which is unusual for me on a Friday, so you'll have to make do with this.
This was taken at Waiwakaiho Beach as I watched an overly exuberant dog splashing through the waves and creating havoc in his efforts to catch at least one sea gull...which he never quite managed.
I don't know that I'm overly happy with this shot but it will have to do.
It's a lot better on the black if you have time or inclination.

For some reason, I find the "this looks like one of your committee meetings" comment very funny. I wish I was at the beach, and I appreciate your showing it to me. Some days, we take the shot we get.

@annied My work gave me the latest Samsung doohickey as well...I can't work it. What I want from a phone is to be able to make phone calls on it. That's it. I'm not a technophobe but its a PHONE. People need to unglue themselves, look up and look around...in my humble opinion anyway.
@graemestevens I agree - I have a Samsung 3 - i think it is - only just start using it a month ago even though I have had it since February - much to my daughters disgust hahahaha

You always have such impressive waves in NZ ....it's far too rough for me to swim....have to make do with the hot pools....thank goodness!
