Welcome Home

I've always been a fan of "open plan" living and good indoor/outdoor flow but I can't help feeling that this is a bit extreme.
Obviously it's the same house as the other day, just from a slightly different angle. I considered it prudent to hide behind the flax bushes as the neighbours continued to hurl abuse in my general direction. I could tell that they had no grounding in the basic principles of grammar either as nearly all of their apostrophes, commas and exclamation marks were either in the wrong place or completely redundant. I did not point this out to them.

Quite sterling on black if you have the time.
hahahahahaha
like this!

oh - and when I hurl abuse I always include the appropriate punctuation

I expected this to be taken long exposure - the clouds are so perfectly contrasting the foreground sharp detail. Great POV. fv

Besides being a spiffing photographer, your level of erudition is beyond reproch.... Fav..

Good god this is a great shot. Very prudent of you to hide behind the bushes.
September 5th, 2015
This is beautiful, I love the rhythm the plants create.

@annied It's of vital importance to be grammatically correct - I just can't respect hooligans that aren't
@ltodd Hiding on my knees behind the shrubbery didn't seem to be the right time for a long exposure shot...and thank you
@jack4john Thank you very much - it's actually funny that you should that because of all the people that I know I'm one of my favourites for that very reason. And for being humble of course.
@yeshanghai Thanks very much :)
@lsanderson55 Thanks very much :)
@ukandie1 Thanks very much - there's a myriad of things that can be accomplished when you're on your knees...
@kerosene Thanks very much - I like to lurk in the shrubbery anyway
@elytra Thank you so much, much appreciated :)

September 5th, 2015
@golftragic Absolutely, it should fetch a small fortune on the open market...

I have been teaching at one of our country's correction facilities for many years - send them to me I will sort out all of their ;!?":

September 5th, 2015
Open floor plan, indeed! Very brooding, ominous and delightful.
September 5th, 2015
@rosiekerr Thank you very much :)
September 5th, 2015
You should ask ross to make you background black permanently.

Still like your outdoor place.
September 5th, 2015
@mastermek That's not a silly idea...and thank you :)
September 5th, 2015
Super love the pov, great edits--fave for sure!
September 5th, 2015
nice, I do like me some walls personally and maybe some less flora in my house
September 5th, 2015
I hope you'll forgive me if I go off-topic in this thread and comment on your photo: this one is the money shot. The low PoV, your use of the WA lens and the crisp processing all combine to make this something special... an easy Fav.
September 5th, 2015
not too shabby
September 5th, 2015
Great, great great!! Three times so!
September 5th, 2015
Richard (@vignouse) nailed it. This is, indeed, the money shot!
September 5th, 2015
@aikiuser Thanks you very much :)
@mindeater Thank you very much - I don't mind the occasional wall, if only to protect my modesty
@vignouse You can go off topic all you like, and thank you very much, as always appreciated
@kali66 It would do in a pinch
@lsquared Thank you very much and yes, I have noticed that sometimes @vignouse can be quite astute
September 5th, 2015
@graemestevens @lsquared Could I take issue with the "sometimes" please!
September 5th, 2015
@vignouse @lsquared You could take issue with that. I should warn you that part of my job when we lived in the UK was "legal negotiation". I haven't had a good wrangle in a long time ;)
September 5th, 2015
Love what you've done to the landscaping, shows off the best of the palace!
September 5th, 2015
@photographycrazy Thank you kindly - it would take a lot to make it look liveable...
September 5th, 2015
love these old bones....
September 5th, 2015
Oh goodness - a vision of the body tossed in the field just came to me. I must move on to happier photos.

September 7th, 2015
@juliedduncan Thanks very much :)
September 7th, 2015
Cool shot, love the low pov & B&W, definitely looks like a place your local serial killer would hang around in :)
September 7th, 2015
@sjodell Well, I was there so I guess so ;) And thank you very much :)
September 7th, 2015
I like this angle a lot and the way an army of leaves seem to be fighting to get into the house.
September 8th, 2015
@taffy Thanks very much. I was there again today and the house is...well, gone.
September 8th, 2015
Terrific shot. Makes me feel very sneaky and voyeuristic.
September 8th, 2015
This looks like a place for the children of the corn.
September 9th, 2015
@carla42 Thanks very much - enjoy that feeling ;)
@janiskay In the town where this is, nothing would surprise me
September 9th, 2015
This is pretty amazing, indeed!! FAV!
We had a house sitting in that very same condition at the end of our block for a few years. It was part of a renovation/addition, and the owner after stripping the siding let it sit exposed to the elements while he redesigned and went through the Coastal Commission. It was quite a sight!
September 10th, 2015
@panthora Thank you very much - I need to find more of these I think
September 10th, 2015
Loving these shots...
