The Last one Standing

You'll no doubt be relieved to know that this is the last shot of this house.
My other shot for the day can be found here:

Best on black as usual.
That's very atmospheric!

So you keep harassing you neighbors...
September 5th, 2015
@mastermek They deserve it...
@nitrogene Thanks very much - it was quite cold too

Yesterday's remains my favourite, it's full of dynamic energy - this one isn't.
September 5th, 2015
Spooky. I like it.
September 5th, 2015
You got out of there alive then! Nice shot
September 5th, 2015

@slash Thanks very much :)
@shepherdmanswife Barely...and thank you :)
@epcello Thank you very much :)
@vignouse I tend to agree, this one is a bit bland by comparison

We have a similar one just along the road - not as falling down as this one but well on the way! People stop and photograph- funny how ruined houses can appeal!
September 5th, 2015
@maggiemae I love them, anything ruined is fine by me ;)
September 5th, 2015
B&W gives it a strong sense of abandonment.

September 6th, 2015
i love this house

September 6th, 2015
@yeshanghai thanks very much :)
@annied I will go back one day, I need to get at the abandoned freezing works on the opposite side of the street.
September 6th, 2015
@graemestevens they sound interesting
September 6th, 2015
@annied I was talking to one of the more convivial and amenable locals who said the best time for the freezing works is on the weekend because then none of the construction companies, who now store their gravel and assorted "stuff" are there, so it will have to wait for when I have some of that "time" stuff
September 6th, 2015
@graemestevens oh "time" well you should get cooking and make some - lol
September 6th, 2015
@annied Pfft...me. In a kitchen. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
September 6th, 2015
I like how you've framed the house with the tall, bent grass.
September 6th, 2015
I like your low pov. It gives a very creepy feel to the shot.
September 6th, 2015
cosy and welcoming, just how I like it ;)
September 6th, 2015
I enjoy the starkness.
September 6th, 2015
@bill_fe Thanks - the grass wasn't the only tall and bent thing in the vicinity
@888rachel Thanks - I spend a lot of time on my knees for these shots
@mindeater If you spend the night you could inherit $1 million!!!
@blueberry1222 Thanks very much :)
September 6th, 2015
Incredible:)!
September 7th, 2015
@joemuli Thank you very much :)
September 7th, 2015
The grasses in front and the contrasty moody processing give this a very cinematic feel...I like it!
September 7th, 2015
@pixelchix Thank you very much :)
September 7th, 2015
@graemestevens oh dear....you are definitely unravelling
September 8th, 2015
@annied I'm long gone, trust me...unsalvageable even
September 8th, 2015
Very nice POV!
September 10th, 2015
@panthora Thanks very much - I seem to spend a lot of time on my knees
September 10th, 2015
