The star of this show is the "new" skull that has been cold water macerating for the last 4 weeks and finally got cleaned off this morning. Somewhat surprisingly it came out with teeth and all for a change - this is (was?) the seal that I discovered dead on the beach some time ago. This shot also took a long, long time to get as I had to wait for a suitable fly to land in a suitable place. After a couple of hours waiting I placed a small bowl of shrimp paste behind the skull to attract them and viola, one fly.

@kerosene I should be so lucky - apparently it's frowned upon, which to me translates as "go ahead (pun intended), help yourself"...it's finding a willing donor that I'm struggling with
