At the Diocletian's Palace in Split - the tourists have followed us but not in such numbers as we had in Prague. This is something of a shame as it is now sometimes difficult to blame my flatulence on someone else.
This central "hall" is filled with a slightly better class of market stall than those outside of the Palace proper...the souvenir t-shirts being sold in here have some cotton content and the silver jewellery is actually silver.
Below this hall is the impressive substructure of the Palace, or the remains thereof, which most recently was used for the filming of some scenes from Game of Thrones.
Split is another must see however with 35 degree days I'm beginning to wonder if my feet will ever stop swelling...
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
Very cool processing and lucky that it wasn't so crowded. We had to shelter there from a sudden downpour so it was way too crowded to look at the market stalls.
@moonbi Thanks very much :) @fbailey Thank you so much :) @koalagardens Thank you kindly :) @tonygig Thanks very much :) @kiwinanna So far we've only had rain on the day we arrived...just enough to drown the luggage ;)
@jgpittenger Thanks very much :) @365karly1 Thank you kindly - I'm enjoying getting the occasional decent shot! @bankmann It's all in processing. I use Affinity Photo for Mac these days which seems to cope much better than LR ever did with HDR. @jacqbb Thanks very much :) @haskar Thank you kindly :) @jetr Thanks so much - I didn't see this "shot" when I took it but in processing she's definitely the focal point. @suesmith Thanks very much :) @pandorasecho You should...it's bloody hot but you should ;) @gamelee Thanks very much :) @lyndamcg Thank you very much - again :)
