The Len Lye Centre is on the right and the noble White Hart is on the right...what? Wait...ummm...
Anyway, the White Hart is a bit of an institution here - I can remember going in there on Friday's in my school uniform and being served. There was the Red Room, home of the local motorbike "club" and the Blue Room, home of the local "alternative scene". The urinal had a large sign hung above it that simply stated "don't eat the large purple fresheners". Ah, happy days.
Now days it's the home to Ms. Whites, a boutique brewery and pizzeria, The Snug Lounge, for those who prefer cocktails and my favourite, The Itch Wine and Gin Bar. So still happy days.
And yes, I got my ball out.
