Some days it is all about getting the chores done. I set my husband's drink cups on the counter for him to take to his little kitchen area tonight and I randomly lined them up in size order. Since I hadn't taken one picture yet for the day I decided to go with it.

Really all I did was straighten them up a little bit! @jayberg I don't believe that even for a second but it sure was nice to contemplate! @olivetreeann lol! It does doesn't it?! @maggiemae it used to be a wet bar in the room that he watches most of his TV. He has a coffee pot, a microwave, and the sink. In the morning he makes his coffee there and in the evenings he will fix himself a drink there. He keeps his supply of glasses and cups in the cupboard. He brings them upstairs for me to wash in the dishwasher and I set them on the counter for him to take that back downstairs when they're clean.
@grammyn This sounds like a good arrangement! Everybody needs a space of their own! Mine is in a mossy old glass house with lots of spiders and drips in the ceiling!

@grammyn Work always wins over fun right now and things that just need to get done. But right now I am off to eat a light lunch, have been packed to get to the park for at least a month now and going to get out and go. Hope to see Mindy and have some fun photos to post.
Hi Katy - I looked up the manual for the Powershot SX40 HS at https://www.lclark.edu/live/files/14568-canon-powershot-sx40-hs-manual and if that is your camera, you can attach external flashes exactly the same as my model - see page 180 of the manual - you have to slide the hot shoe cover off.
@ltodd somehow I just knew after I made that statement that you would find a way to tell me that my camera will WI LL take an external flash! Actually somewhere in the back of my mind I thought I already knew that too! 😜
:) I looked it up because my new little 90ex flash even fits on my canon G15 P&S. I think we would both be 250 years old before we learn half of what there is to learn about photography! That is what I find so stimulating about it as a hobby - there is always something different to learn about!
