Perhaps it's the green bokeh in the background more than the nest- but that could look like a very thin strand of evergreen garland. I think it's the background though. Good catch.
Because the overall shape resembles the triangular shape of a tree and as Ann said, the green Bokeh looks like Christmas tree lights...? It's a great photo whatever the resemblance!
