Don't Talk With Your Mouth Full

This cardinal was stocking up on food because of the cold snap that we got in the last two days.
This is a beautiful photo! Love the composition with the angles, the sharpness of the cardinal against the soft background! Fantastic!

Great capture of this beautiful bird. Our cardinals are too shy to get close like this.
I had to stop feeding the birds because the squirrels moved into the barn and our big shop and began doing damage, They chewed on wires (we had to re-wire hubby's workroom) built nests in the tractor (we had to re-wire the tractor) and generally made a nuisance of themselves.
It took over 2 months to get rid of the 60+ squirrels that moved in (or re-produced).

@wyomingsis How wonderful to see that enthusiasm. Thank you so much. @kjarn How wonderful to see that enthusiasm. Thank you so much.
@kjarn thank you Kathy. They do provide a wonderful pop of color in the winter
@lynnz i’m so glad you like it Lynn. Thank you so much
@lesip so kind of you to say. Take them through a dirty window and cropped pretty close makes it less sharp than I would have liked.
@frantackaberry I am so glad I got a shot of it for you Frances
@shutterbug49 thank you so much Debbie.
@digitalrn you might be right but he was outside and I was inside so that wasn’t gonna happen.

@joansmor oh nice of you to say Joan thank you
@wakelys we didn’t have any where I grew up either and it was so exciting to me to move to Alabama and find them.
@bkbinthecity i’m so glad you think so and really appreciate that.
@louannwarren thank you so much Lou Ann I am glad you like it.
@farmreporter we have experienced some of those re-wiring problems here as well however I can honestly say we only had four or five squirrels in our yard. I cannot imagine 60+! Glad you like my photo thank you.
@serendypyty Jackie has told me that you don’t have them so I try to post a few more photos of them because of that. Thank you Carole
@tunia thanks a lot Tunia. I am glad you think so.
