One For the Money...

I mentioned I have 15 grandchildren which includes one grandchild in law. They are all ages, none of them young anymore, and because of that I have no idea of their preferences for anything so they get money to spend as they wish. I do try to make it interesting every year. This year they get it like this
Fun, fun, fun

This is a wonderful way to present it. I have a friend who gives the kids and grands money at Thanksgiving. Then they have to show up at Christmas with what they bought. Sounds like fun.

What a wonderful look at the balls with treats. Will they have to be broken to retrieve the gift? You are so clever. My family got the same old Visa gift cards.

And is it the same amount for every one of them? Or do they get the amount equal to their age?
I've looked into my family tree, and unfortunately it seems that I am not your grandchild...

Great idea! I've seen these clear glass balls, but just thought about the possibilities of stuffing them with Christmas things like tinsel-- or painting them.

@mcsiegle thanks Mary these are actually plastic from the dollar tree and I debated whether to personalize them or not, dciding against it because they may break them to get the money out

Clever! My grandchildren in NY (with the exception of the 3 year old) love to get money so I do the same. This year it was hiding in gifts like mittens and craft books. Last year it was odd boxes and cardboard tubes. It's fun coming up with odd and interesting ways to package the green stuff!

December 17th, 2022
@madamelucy thank you, Terri. I imagine they will probably just break it. I don’t think any of them have the patience to try and pull it back out!
