She got her ears pierced today and every one of us teared up when she did. It was over in a matter of minutes and her grandmother, on the right, distracted her with her reflection which made her smile. Her aunt, on the left, and her mother were happy to see her recover so quickly
Ouch! I remember when mine were done and my grandmother took it upon herself to keep the opening clear by inserting the earrings everyday. I let her poke me bc she always rewarded me with a piece of chocolate afterwards.
So young! Never had mine pierced because I was deathly afraid of needles. I still am- although I sure have had my share of them now with all the surgeries and hospital stays of late! I love all the family interaction here- truly special!
