@swguevin @deburahiru @meganc1 @digitalrn @marilyn @silverlight It was a shoe lace but I was amazed at how much it resembled a snake! I used to raise snakes and it made me look twice. It had the texture that made it look like a pattern, the perfect head at one end and the tapered tail at the other. So it was another one that bit the dust but only a shoe lace after all! It would have been a GREAT April Fool joke!

Oh my gosh!! I have a friend who would have gotten whiplash trying to get to that 'snake'. I got my love of reptiles from him and he always had his eye out for those critters while we were driving in the desert. It was so funny to see how many times we were fooled by sticks.
"Oh yeah, just the Common Stick Snake." LOL

This shoe lace is a total wannabe. Great eye.
