Cotton Candy Moon by grammyn

Cotton Candy Moon

With apologies to KarenAnn who commented on the photo I just deleted because I had nothing else to post for the night. As soon as I finished posting my husband called me outside to catch this. The clouds were gently rolling across the sky in front of the moon and it was difficult to choose which shot I liked best.
beautiful... it does look like cotton candy!

No apology needed, Katy! This is beautiful and I love it. These clouds are simply gorgeous going across the moon. Light and color are fantastic. Your hubby has a great eye. :)

Wow, awesome photo. I have never seen the moon and clouds pick up this cotton candy color. The clouds do not even look real in the darker areas. Nice that your husband told you how it looked outside.

@karenann Thanks, KarenAnn. I almost never delete a shot but this one just seemed like such a better one and I can always take the other one again. This one I couldn't

@darsphotos I am glad you like it Darlene. It was a very interesting sky.I liked the fact that the clouds were moving rather quickly so I just had to wait a second or two for the scene to change!
