Deciding not to leave it to chance today I asked a family member to pose for me. His wife told him he didn't have to smile for me and yet when it came time to take the photo he had a hard time NOT smiling.
you know you're kicking our butts with your people shots! and i like that. and i love this shot, too! if i'd be kicked hard in the butt, i rather that it's you doing it! :-)

This is so interesting to me as my older son once had a beard like this too. If I had a similar shot of him and we put the two photos side by side, someone would say they were related. Nicely done!
This is so wonderful. I just looked through the whole month to date and love every single picture. So many of them capture an element of emotion. I think the waitress was trying not to smile as well. And the kiddo on the 22nd.... Superb.

The funny story about the waitress I took the picture and when I looked at the thumbnail on my camera it didn't look like she was smiling so I said let me take another one where you are smiling. She said "I thought I was smiling in that one!" When I looked at it later on the big screen I realize she was smiling but she was very self-conscious! I'm struggling to find one of the kiddo on the 22nd but thank you so much
