The strap of the point and shoot camera...what is usually in the way and to be avoided can change its role so unexpectedly.

Nice texture in the strap and yes, I remember the problem well! I bought an 'enthusiast' compact a year ago and the amount I paid for it meant I really felt it needed a neck strap rather than be dangling on the end of a wrist strap!! It was a good idea.
