Lighttrails by granagringa

Lighttrails

The only decent image (and that's after more post processing than I usually do) from my very first attempt at photographing traffic light trails. The processing lowered exposure, selective color and color balance, and cloning out some distractions.
Thanks always for your visits, comments, favs (if that happens!) and critiques and recommendations.
Great capture

I think they are hard to do. Good for you for keeping at it. What did you use for shutter speed

Oh I see. Looks like you had good shutter speed. Wonder why it gave you so much trouble>

I do like these light trails. The hustle and bustle at the end of the day.

Nice result. Did you have a tripod?

@onewing Hi Babs, and yes, I had a tripod and a remote trigger.

@jgpittenger Hi Jane..I'm not sure why the trouble...some of it was over exposure...and it all seemed to too yellow. So I adjusted that. As blue hour darkened that was remedied but the later shots didn't work for me. I'll try again some evening. Thanks always for your input! So valuable to me.

sounds like you got some good editing practice. I think there is a lot of trial and error in getting the light trails you want. But you certainly did get them and the image conveys speed.
